Think this car was on a lot when we last saw it on this forum. Also think there was some sort of dent, right front fender maybe that has been taken care of. Car looks terrific here. Didn’t look as good before if my memory serves me correctly.

 

Ah it is the same car from the post of 12/31 on here. I guess they didn’t fix the fender. It is mentioned in this add here. It’s just photographed differently, which makes it less noticeable. But it’s cleaned up, and staged a lot better than a dirt lot.

 

It is a clean example at a fair asking price.

 

WHY is it a 301?? With a Pontiac 400 or Olds 403, and the gauge package, I'd be all over this car!

 

It's trivial to swap a 301 over to a 400 (and very few would notice), I'd not let that stop me from getting it if I was in the market.

 

Agreed that an engine swap would not be a big deal.

 

Especially if you looked to make a decent weekend "go somewhere interesting" cruiser.

 

For the engine swap the biggest issue is finding all the 350-455 accessory brackets you will need, the ones on the 301 will not work on the bigger engines. Other than that not a hard swap.

 

The idea is to buy a parts car that has everything with it, go from there.

 

That's what I ended up doing, easiest way to go. Plus you get some spare parts.

Down to $4900.

 

That is actually a nice price for this car, could probably buy it for around $4000
