    Eh :huh: just get a Grand Le Mans and have virtually the same car without the cracking nose problem.

    So, Jeff, were those nose sections made of "Enduraflex," like the Fieros were? Or were they just fiberglass, as on some other '70s cars?

    Actually neither, I forget what they called it, but it was a much lighter, and thinner material than the 68-72 Endura, much more flexible. And probably a lot cheaper to produce. It is the foam backing that falls apart, then the outer casing cracks. The 75 I had started to crack, then a week later whole section started flying off as I drove down the road.

    Never seen a Grand Am nose look like the ones in the pics. There are three cars locally that look nearly new, especially compared to the ones shown. Oh, well.
