i got a 74 riviera years back for the demo derby it was a real oddball or a cop interceptor and it was plain jane bench seat, plain dash. But it had the complete stage1 driveline in it Engine trans and 12 bolt 3.23 locker rear all coded to a stage1 driveline and man did it scream! No stage1 badges anywhere on the car.

He must've lowered the reserve-- now at 8000 with reserve met.

Ends in 3 hours. Seems funny it shot up to $8,000, dropped reserve, and nobody has bid since. I'll be watching this one end.

Well I have an "enemy" that seems to follow me around. I am sure he lurks on this website, saw what I "said" I had bid then ran it up to that point. Will see what happens,

The brake pedal pad has no wear along with the carpet heel pad, if they're original that's always a good sign that it's a low mileage car.
Is that carpet discoloration from that foam duct sealer material breaking down and blowing out the heat ducts and staining it?
    Seen that a few times.

looked more like slop spewed from one of those lil console cupholder type things to me,That or someone spilled crap on dash and it came out the bottom does NOT look like the heater fuzz to me looks more like a liquid stain. the odometer does NOT line up between the 8 and the 7 if it was a 9 i could see it but it's not.Its nice but i think its is a well maintained rolled over 118,000.If its garage kept well maintained and driven by someone like my ford was by my grandmother it would look just like it does.Without inspection records like we have here ya can't tell.

Nice car and interestingly optioned as most 60s through mid 70s cars were. Seems like they are all unique and while I know they were, you rarely see two that are optioned the same these days of the ones that are remaining. As a current owner of a 72 Caprice wagon and 73 Grand Ville sedan and several other early 70s GM cars in the past, I have seen a lot of wildly optioned cars.

Power locks on an Impala wagon wasn't too often seen, nor FM radio. The car must have originally been in a large city since many of those owners opted for FM radios. My 72 has an AM radio, but it does have a clock, but I guess that was standard on the Caprice. lol. It was nice to see that even the Impala wagons for '75 added woodgrain accents to the driverside part of the instrument panel. That was a Caprice only feature from 1971-74.

I agree jaunty and that is another reason I love the 60s-70s cars so much, they were all so oddly and differently optioned and seems like all options were individual options rather that option packages. I have seen wagons like yours before and they are rare. I once seen a 1972 Buick Estate Wagon with NO options! It didn't even have A/C! It was plain, plain, plain! I think it had an AM radio, that was it. lol. I would say that my '72 Caprice wagon stickered higher than that plain jane Buick.

I have seen many differently optioned wagons like mine. My Caprice Estate sounds like it is optioned like yours, except mine has tilt wheel, but no power seat. lol. Power windows/locks were a little rarer on the Chevy wagons though. I also seen another '72 Caprice Estate wagon with a 454, power windows, power locks, power gate, cruise, FM, power seat (none of which mine have), but it did NOT have tilt wheel, which mine has. lol.
