    While it certainly seems to be a nice-enough car that it ought to fetch a few thousand dollars at least, this back end isn't helping him any. Several attempts to sell this car now are certainly sending him a message about what the market thinks it's worth.

    You know what, I just don't get this: why hasn't the seller just plain picked up a tiny color matching container of paint and dabbed it on those exposed metal parts to stop it from rusting? OK, I get part of this; it may not match the oxidized paint completely. Still, at least there won't be potential for a gaping hole in the back end! Yes I did as a matter of fact do this very same thing on the Caprice and Suburban.
