Pretty good find. I sent a note to the seller on Ebay to ask if he had a phone number for questions but no reply yet. The lower drivers side rocker in the picture is what I'm concerned about.

This restoration would be a major undertaking, but it is such an usual wagon with a very rare combination of options. I hope it is saved.

Just imagine it transformed into this.

Those are the wheels it probably had. What do you think that nice metallic red one would go for?

With the high wagon sale prices we’ve seen recently and the popularity of older Chevrolet’s, I’d guess 12-15K for a loaded Estate like the one in the picture. You’d easily spend that much to restore this white 454 wagon unless you can do the work yourself of course.

Thanks. Was kinda thinking in that ball park, but you’re right. Wagons have just blown up all over the place. I always think cars in general bring what the market will tell you what they bring. Good luck if you’re looking at this wagon.

That red one is a GM publicity photo from 1974. Note the license plate

Yeah. Looks like lots of good rust-free NM parts there. Even the bumper fillers are not shot.

Meanwhile this rare optioned wagon is at barely over $200.

I think with the cost of restoration even this rare wagon might scare off potential buyers.

Great donor car for the 74. Well I tried contacting the owner of the 454 car twice and didn’t hear back. Now the auction appears to be ended early which makes me think they want to keep it or they sold it locally. Probably for the best since I was concerned about that lower drivers rocker. It looked to be rusted right through. Thanks for finding the donor cars.
