Will it sell this time for $7900?
I have some doubts.
Well strange that it has a rebuilt transmission and new torque convertor but the kickdown doesn’t work. You’d think you’d test that when you installed a new transmission.
Kickdown on the Turbo 400 is an electronic switch. May be something as simple as it came unplugged or needs re-adjusted. May have been just fine when it left the shop.
Yes I reinstalled mine before when I replaced the engine/trans on my 76. Pretty simple fix instead of driving around without it downshifting.
SOLD? Guess we will see.
I think he’s gonna be disappointed again. That transmission issue is troubling.
Back yet again.
Those earlier auctions supposedly ended with bids of $7900. So why does it keep coming back?
That’s had more farewell appearances than Cher and ole Blue Eyes put together. Did that car originally have no wheel opening / rocker moldings ?
Definitely no wheel opening moldings when I first saw it and it had a white roof. I don't know how you can get a bid each time and sell the car on eBay and re-list it. Only way I've heard to do this is the buyer and seller agree to not complete the sale which seems to be the routine for this car.
Now at $6900.
