1974 Buick Estate Wagon

Derby meat at that price. If closer to me and I had room and money for another clamshell project that I probably won't get to for a bit, I'd buy it and keep it.

 

San Diego is probably not really derby territory, so it may be safe for awhile.

Yes not having reverse was the main reason I didn't buy it. Probably makes it difficult for anyone out of the area to get it shipped also.

Talked to the guy yesterday and he said it is sold. Not surely the ad is still up. I did not buy it. Should have though

 

I live in San Diego and bought this car. Was a one owner car 'til me. No reverse but picked up a rebuilt trans which is going in next week. Runs strong- drove it to 90mph on I-5 coming home.

 

I think it has every option including original 8-Track tape player except for power locks because Buick saleman had said dangerous if you go in the drink....

Has no major issues that I have found. Great car, great people too.

 

Looking at the previous posts again- some rust stains on roof buffed out easily. Body is straight, no rust outs even in the clam shell and spare tire well.

Thanks for your kind encouragement!! I couldn't figure out why it hadn't sold either- kind of had me worried. Now I think the seller was so busy he just couldn't make arrangements- took me a LOT of tries too. I do need the driver's side rear bumper filler piece- top bar of gate trim and exhaust if you have any/ know of any for sale. Best, Gary
