That's when you want a muscled woman with thin fingers, and all you have to do is crimp the hog ring. If she plays the piano or a guitar, even better - good strong fingers.
This guy's wife is really sad at home worried about her mother's operation and so she sends her hubby to go and get any news. He talks to the doctors and its sounds like she goes through lapses of promising and uh-oh. The docs just tell him to be prepared for the worst. He goes home and sees his poor wife sobbing and fretting, and he's thinking "Prepare for the worst", grumbling about the mother-in-law. "Well, honey, they told me to prepare for the worst, so lets get her room ready!"
Hey Guys, well the bumpers are on and so are the wheel lip moldings. My chrome guy did an excellent job straightening out all the dings and dents on the bumpers and also getting out all the little imperfections on the wheel lip moldings and shining them up. I'm coming to a close to what I know how to do though. The only thing left is to finish up the front seat and adding the woodgrain vinyl to the rear luggage rack air dam. THANKS A BUNCH NORM, I really do appreciate your generousity of sending me your left over piece! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima I am gonna have to keep saving my money to get my engine, transmission, brakes, etc. looked at and I imagine that won't be cheap. Again, I really appreciate all the kind words and helpful tips throughout the project. She isn't done by no means, but she sure does look pretty sittin' in the garage. You can't drive that! It's too pretty. So it did take a while to get to you, eh? Use a heat gun and your hand with a soft flannel cloth, and a needle to get the bubbles out. If your wife ever used shelf paper, she probably knows some other tips. Nice work, Carlos.
Norm, I received the tube late last week, but didn't get a chance to install it due to rain and plain laziness. THANKS AGAIN VERY MUCH!!! But it's installed now. I laid the vinyl woodgrain in between two 2 x 4's to get the "rolled upness" out. It was out in the Sun for about an hour while I finished up the installation of the front seat. Here are a few photos of both. Note: I had to contact the seat upholstery supplier for another set of headrest covers. The ones they sent me were too short on the sides and would not work. They said they would re-make them and send them to me as soon as they were ready. Hey guess what came in the mail today??? The headrests are now sporting new upholstery and are installed. My son liked them so much he had to test them out. Hey Guys, sorry I haven't posted anything, but in short the Holidays came around and my money is being spent elsewhere. The plan is still to hopefully get her running by Spring/Summer, but we'll see what the actual will be. Wish me luck....maybe my wife will get the mechanicals done for me for Christmas. Wishful thinking on my part for sure!
You have come a long way with that baby, so it's gona be spring..no big deal. Don't be a stranger and what my signature says
Gets nippy in Texas this time of year, huh? I was checking Monterrey, MX weather reports, and they show Texas weather too, for all the shoppers. I was surprised.
