ended at $11,450; maybe terminated early. I like to believe mid- late 70's cars in fairly good shape keep going up in price. Excellent cars will be in the high teens.

update.- ebay bidding ending $9,500. Third time on ebay, just not hitting the reserve price of $15,000. Want's over the $6,000 it sold for three years ago.

I love this car and its condition. I also tend to think that the most recent high bid of $9,500 is probably about appropriate for this car. At that price it would still be driven with kids in the back along with the family dog on the way to the ice cream stand. Once you're talking in the $15K range, this wagon would loose it's originally intended purpose.

Well, you have to at least give him credit for trying......:biglaugh:
For all the time & money he has spent on this venture, he would have been way ahead to grab the $11,450 offer that he had last time on ebay.

Different owner. Was in Rhode Island now in California. A dealer has it now. Whoops! Never mind it must just be an internet listing web site.

This is the wagon that will not die.
It was on ebay as of last week, with bidding stalled at $6100 and still somewhere below the reserve. It boggles the mind: with all the time it spent on ebay, nobody has bought it yet.

My impression was that the '73 was the least desirable of the highly desirable fuselage styled T&Cs. To me the '73s are very nice looking cars -- until you compare them to the '69 - '72s. This looks like a decent car, but, with the rust on the door and the low level of options, even if I could ever see $9500 for a '73, I couldn't see that price for this one.
