Not a bad car. Not many options, from what we can see. He never shows a good photo of the dash, but from the photo of the engine compartment, does the car have A/C or cruise control? I don't think so. Manual tailgate. No rear defogger. No third seat. Roll-up windows. No power locks. No luggage rack. No bumper strips. But it does look good, condition-wise, especially the seats and in particular that front seat. We often see these cars with cracked, split upholstery, duct tape, foam stuffing showing, blankets thrown over them, that sort of thing. That's not at all the case here. That upholstery looks downright pristine. It does suffer from the same sagging-tailgate syndrome we often see on clamshells. But with this being a manual tailgate, you'd think you could just pull it up farther. But I don't know as I've never used one. I like that the dealer tag is still on the back end. Pretty much says that the car was never repainted.
Its been "in storage" so long, it still has bias ply type tires on it. Good tread but got to be 30+ yrs old?
Don’t forget the “New York” factor. Check the tail pipe. Probably more rust in other places. Still, the car looks nice and plus everything is higher in New York
Bondo in both doglegs, front fenders and drivers door. Car sat in a barn on a dirt floor sank to the frame. I’ve had this car looked at by a third party. It’s nice but been painted and has issues. I passed on the car at $3500
