I agree on the third seat option. I sold my beautiful Buick wagon to buy a Chevy with the third seat. Although I love my Chevy I keep thinking back to the Buick........take care of my baby AK27

Well I have a '72 Caprice wagon with the 3rd seat option and I think I would gladly trade it for any clamshell 2 seater as long as I could drive it. Mine dont do me much good now. lol.

I bet the reserve is $10K or more now. I am going to bed, will have to wait until tomorrow to see if it sells. I know I wont be getting it. :( lol.

I wish you were closer, we could probably work out a deal with my 73 for your 72. But, right now I don't have anymore vacation time to do a road trip

I do too. I love the 3rd seat option in wagons, but I also love the '73 wagons. lol. I have seen yours though, its much nicer than mine, dont think you would be interested in a deal for mine. My interior is excellent, but the outside is another story... its starting to weather pretty bad. Woodgrain is turning white, more surface rust popping up, etc. :( Hoping to have mine back on the road soon at least.

For me personally, this loaded Caprice Estate is considerably more appealing than the '73 Custom Cruiser also on eBay that keeps being bid (allegedly) to $18k and then subsequently withdrawn. At least the auction on this one didn't seem so ... fishy.
