They could sell those '54-'55 Olds Fippers to someone who really needs them and they'd probably pay this seller enough to RE-PAINT, AAARRRGGGHHHH, MY EYEZ, MY EYEZ:cry: Pink 'n Gray waz good back in the early-mid '50s but only on Shirtz, Argyle Sox, 'N Fuzzy Dice:dance:

I actually like the wide whites, but don't like the wheels at all. Personally, and unimaginatively, I like spoke or turbine wheels on most vehicles. I have also always liked two-tone just as much as single-tone paint jobs, but only when the colors ARE not insulting to the senses. Nonetheless, I have not doubt that there is some one out there that would look at this paint scheme and squeal with glee... but not me :vomito:

FM1 Panther Pink was the Dodge code and name for the darker pink. Moulon Rouge was the Plymouth name for the same color. It was available on A- and B-body cars in 1970, and not at all available on later cars, and certainly not on the big C-body cars like this Plymouth.

The first-year RoadRunner was available in many colors, not just the two you mentioned. Sometimes, the Interwebz are just so full of utter misinformation and plain ol' BS.

I think this wagon would look 100% better just by painting over the light pink areas with silver Plastidip (yes, they do have an aluminum silver plastidip spray now, and gallons coming soon for shooting with a Wagner), and putting more appropriate hubcaps on it. The Pepto Pink can be re-shot later in maroon or something.

Yeah but doing that to the person that painted this poor wagon like this won't help the wagon. :biglaugh:

I'm a big fan of the '72 Sport Suburban, and, frankly, I think this one is just a complete travesty. But it's so ridiculous, I just can't help laughing when I see it.

They're putting this up for auction in the land of the Auburn, Cord, and Duesenberg, and they're estimating it will sell for $8K to $11K.

Was P.T. Barnum born in Auburn?
