Sadly with some of these sellers, when they see an “ugly head”, of what the market bears they think it’s their Aunt Edna back for Thanksgiving Dinner and just ignore it. The other thing is that they drop $30,000 into screwing something up and want you to pay for their taste.

I inquired on this car back in June. It was a woman I spoke to, in Northern Pennsylvania. She was asking $12,000 for it back then, but seem negotiable. I considered going to check it out, but was a 6 hour drive one way for me. I called again in September. She stated it was sold. Seems to be in a different location now

Or maybe it's now a different woman?

Yeah. Seems a little weird that it went from Allentown PA to Albany NY.Maybe they tried to sell to move but didn’t get their price so took it with them?... and still need the cash...

Especially with six days left. Unless I'm not going to be around for the very end of the auction I don't bother bidding on stuff until the last 5 minutes or so. Why drive up the price ahead of time? You aren't likely to scare off other buyers that might want the object you are bidding on.

Anybody with a brain, if they’re following these cars they know this one went to $7,400 in December and stalled out. Had an $12,000 reserve, and fell flat. Now it opens up at $11,000. Hope her/his nephew in Columbus doesn’t get stuck with this car, as the owner puts the paddles to this otherwise dead auction to try and gin up some bidding excitement on this car. It’s a nice car, but come on now... the market has told you 3 times what to expect. What do bet it ends with this one bid, and miracle of miracles returns in early May, cause the buyer didn’t come through.

Judging by today's standards, yes, but in those days, everything was an option, and this one was option D33 for $12.00. On these cars, a driver's side remote mirror was a "required" option on any car ordered with power windows, so any of these cars you see with power windows will automatically have a remote-control driver's mirror.

Option A31 is power windows. That cost $129.

I see there was only one bid. Probably the seller or a friend trying to spark interest. It will be interesting to see how long it stays sold.

Please refer to my post of 4/25. I’m sure we’ll see this car up again. Maybe with an opening bid of .........$10,750 perhaps? Seems like everyone is on to the game.

It's going to take a demolition derby, to kill it, if they don't quit flipping it around like that
