Haha! The actual details of the Ford deal with Boeing at the time would no doubt be fascinating! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima Much we do not know!
Another 1970 Thunderbird with far fewer options than the beautiful burgundy one! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-Ford-Thunderbird-Brougham-/231293202282?_trksid=p2054897.l4275
This spectacular work of art is back again - talk me out of cashing in my 401k!!!! http://palmsprings.craigslist.org/cto/4614793625.html
Splenderful, love it. Looking in September Hemmings. It jumps from 1966 to 1976. None of that generation to be found. These and the Riviera are super cruisers.
You're quite correct, finsrin!!!!!! The 1967-71 "glamour birds" are increasingly rare on the market especially as low mileage examples like this! Popular explanation is that they were such solid cars new and even as young used cars that most were driven straight into the junkyard eventually! Sad but possibly true!
But at least the '66 is red on black drop-top from Texas, and the '76 is a tu-tone gold with sunroof out of Massatoosetts....
If I did not have a full plate of projects and full parking for cars. What to say,,, is so very very tempting.
