    I could be wrong, but I'm pretty confident the cross flags on the front fenders are not original. In '69, the CID was in block letters just above the side front turn signals. The only other 427 wood sided wagon I can find pics of doesn't have anything denoting engine size. I doubt they (GM) would install cross flags just on wood sided wagons. Seems curious to add them to such an original car.
