Wow....took some time to answer... I met him in Hollywood and he was not as you describe. At least not on that day. He was nice enough....just concieted and acted like he was a little bit better than everyone else. Small guy, too.
Wow, did you notice that I didn't join until today? If I had psychic powers and knew you were making this post when you did, I would have joined then and responded. Where does his height matter? Some say he was 6 feet tall, and others say he was small, but if he was a small guy, the people who co-starred with him would have been even smaller. I know a relative of his and she's got a lot of his personal papers, including medical records, and they say he was six feet tall. This is just because you mention his height. James MacArthur was 5'8." If Jack was really small, then James had to have been lying about his beight. She's got an FBI report that Jack filed, and his description was filled out by an agent. The agent gave his height as 6'2," two inches over his natural height. If he was really short, the agent wouldn't have put a larger height of that much difference. However, back on topic. When did you meet him, and what did he say that made you think he was conceited and acting better than everyone else? I ask because I came across people who made similar comments (only one or two others.) When they described their encounters with him, it didn't sound like he was being mean to them at all. They were misinterpreting him.
Thanks, Walruslip, :2_thumbs_up_-_anima but there was no need to say that about Jack Lord. This thread is about a type of car that he drove on Hawaii Five-O, and Silverfox mentioned that he met him and that it was not a good experience, and I was asking why, that was all. He's one of my favorite actors, and I was just asking him to explain what happened.
Cool, no sweat. Maybe we should start a thread about Jack Lord. I was just trying to say hi to Pete. Jack Lord is cool!
 wow this thread is over a year old...Pete hasn't been around since last April about the time that S.F. made his comment...I'm wondering why all the attention. Has everyone voted for Shawn's Vega today?
