    Oh.
Oh.... you’re talking about the front fender lights. Those were standard on the Caprice, not sure about the SS, as I’ve seen some SS models with the chrome caps They were optional on Impala models. I would think you could special order them in Biscayne and Bel Air although I’ve never seen one with. And it doesn’t show them as an option. Im sure folks over the years have done some swapping around. Just like with the front fender badging, and interior badging on the SS, especially 427. It was not uncommon for Chevy to change things up once, maybe twice during the model year.

I know. That’s always my default. I see people put hundreds of thousands of dollars into stuff and it still isn’t this nice. I had a restoration person tell me one time. If it’s a car you like. Find the best example of it and buy it. If I absolutely had to have a ‘68 Caprice wagon, which I would love, this would be it. $34,000 wouldn’t take care of body work and paint on a rusted out hull of one.

Sold for $38,000. Still a great bargain. As markfnc said you couldn’t do one for that.

Actually this is the same car. This one is the funky wheel one that was delivered new to Portland. To markfnc’s point, there was another Tripoli Turquoise one on Bring a trailer that was almost identical to this one with rally wheels and air that came out of a Chicago dealer. It was odd having two similar color combos at the same time. This one has been up several times which makes me think it’s flippers, or the car somehow disappoints.
