    More photos - finally

Silverfox - Happy Holidays! I was finally was able to get more photos of Dad's car. Here are a few. There are more, but the attachments are limited to 5. Any suggestions on how to stimulate interest? Hopefully someone would like to rebuild his vintage set of wheels. Thanks in advance for your help:cheers: again.

Car is located in Temple City, California.

Logan, it sure does seem like you have that "diamond in the ruff" BUT if you want to sell it and not waist your time and others YOU HAVE TO SIMULATE INTERST;). Drag that wagon out and WASH IT, get the milk crate and what ever else is in there out, open doors, take pics, pics, pics, of door jams, tail gate, door panels, headliner, engine, underside (open, closed, up, down all around). No offence but your pics are CRAP for what I am sure is a holly grail barn find. It's very clear the car needs a full resto but is sure looks like it has magor potential.Don't hide the flaws like the front seat as an example, show it like it is.

I really believe you have the barn find of the year but your pics.....they suck! Please take this as constuctive crits Logan....I really thing you have the find of the year:dance:

You guys have been great coaches, thanks

Fat Teddy and Silverfox - you guys have provided great tips. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to follow up on Fat Teddys recent input. I live on the East Cost and my Dad's Fury is in Los Angeles. I have been working through a friend to get photos, but they are not going to be able to move the car and clean it up. Bottom line, I need to get Dad's old ride moved and I am still really hoping someone is interested in restoring his wagon. I just hate for the wagon to go to the recycling heap. Any suggestions on how to get it into the right hands?

Thanks again for your generous support,

    Logan

Yeah...I didn't know Logan was that far away from the car either. That IS a bummer. The car needs everything Fat stated. With that done it would probably fly off the shelf for a lot more money. What are you asking for it, Logan? I forget now if you ever said what the price is. If you have more pix then post a link where we can go and look. I still need to see more of it.

    Fat Tedy - thanks

Thanks for your enthusiastic support. I do very much hope a contact in CA, specifically in LA, show some interest.

Are you aware of any Wagon groups in the LA Area? I would be happy to contact them directly.

    Happy New Year!

    Silver Fox,

Thanks again for your input. I never mentioned a price. As you guys have clearly said, it needs a full rebuild. I have no idea what it is worth in its current condition. I really was just hoping to get it to someone who save Dad's ride. If I remember right, it only cost about $4,500 brand new. That was a few days ago.

How do I provide a link for more photos? I am happy to share all I have.

    Thanks,

    Logan

I don't know of any specific wagon groups in LA. You are probably going to catch the LA guys right here and then they may pass it along. Again, Logan...how much are you asking for the wagon? Kinda hard for anyone to make a decision without that info. Also again....a link to more pix?

OH....sorry, Logan. To post a link....well...you have to have those pix stored somewhere on the puter, right? I'm not good at this myself but, if you go to those pix and then just copy the address up in the addy bar at the page top....then post that site address here. Probably better explanations but I hope you get my lousy explanation. Anyway...then we can click on that link and it will take us to the pix.

Traveling - but still interested in moving the wagon

    Silver Fox,

Dad is not looking to make money on his wheels. I think he could get a $500 tax credit if he donated his car to charity. I think that is all he would want for the car and that is probably negotiable.

As for more photos, I am traveling and away from the computer with the pics so posting will have to wait for another day.

Again thanks for all your help,

    Logan

Theres a demand for these as there is for mopars in general. My nrighbor was going to give away her 72 Monaco to charity before I sprinted outside in my boxers one morning to save it. The wagon is owrth more then 500 bucks. If I lived closer to you id take his fury off his hands

At that price....who needs PIX!? Man...it HAD to be on the west coast...AGAIN!! Here I'm telling the kid to post more pix, clean it up etc and then he tells me he's giving it away. If I lived ANYWHERE close to you Logan, that car would be GONE. Put an ad in any paper....even toilet paper.....at that price it will last 10 minutes MAYBE.
