Those two cars deserve to RIP.

 

Very hard to see in the pic, but the window trim on the front was fixable for a driver, some was good enough for a show car. A few pieces of side window trim was still there and "Pioneer" emblems. I also removed the driver side fin trim and tried to remove the marker bezels...but without a hammer to punch them out, I actually ended up ACCIDENTALLY breaking the bezels and saving the markers. I knew the cars were rare, so I didn't want even the littlest thing scrapped.

 

It never ceases to amaze me what people do to cars. Leave them out in fields or under some tree to rot. You would never know that each and every one of them rolled out of a factory in beautiful condition. If everyone would just do routine maintenance & put a coat of wax on a car a couple times a year, who knows how many awesome cars would be around. Good luck with the Pontiac wagon. It's way beyond my abilities, but it would be great to see that car on the road even if you only fixed it mechanically.
