I LOVE the car. I just always wondered why Mopar designed the spare-tire area as a separate piece. I mean I'd constantly be worrying about the panel coming-off if I hit a bump or something. The Chrysler version of this wagon of that year did not have this.
Well this guy sold for $35,500 in 2022. It’s gonna have to get cracking to add $10.000. Bet it gets into the $30,000’s but it’s not going to be the sellers annuity if he’s looking for a 6 figure flip.
Wow. Well hush my mouth. That went crazy town. What a huge jump in 2 years. Well I guess when two people want something. There you have it. I just never dreamed it would come to that. I was thinking it would get some last minute action. It’s going to be interesting to see it if this car lays low for a while, or of the new owner tries to hit another home run with it.
And vulnerable to theft. Back then, people were more trustworthy about these things. I guess, the idea was to make it possible to change a flat, without having to unload cargo during nasty weather. Then again, that would also depend on where the jack was stored. Having been designed in the Rust Belt, you'd think that they would worry about rust buckets of these eventually bombarding freeways with rubber road torpedos
