I'll bet the builder started to have problems when he put the '56 body on the '73 frame. Take a look at how close the tires are to the body metal.......

Doing a swap like this requires a lot of expertise - measurements, fabrication, patience, the works. Probably an amateur job.

    "No time to build"...

Translation - "Damn, I don't know what drugs I was on when I decided to put the body on a later frame. It looks like dog$hit and I am ashamed that I was this stupid! Someone please take this off my hands for the ridiculously high price I am asking for it! Thanks!"

Another good reason to buy the 54 Ford. What are you waiting for?

Yep, I bet somebody didn't realize what they were getting into...

    Here are the basic dimensions:

    1956 Century Estate wagon:
    Wheelbase: 122"
    Front track: 59"
    Rear track: 59"

    1973 Buick Estate wagon:
    Wheelbase: 127"
    Front track: 63.6"
    Rear track: 64"

    Not a "bolt-on" change...
Now consider all the hard points for body mounts, steering column and brake system interfaces, transmission/engine/suspension/floor pan interferences...:hmmm::badwords::90::badwords:

Lots of work to do, but it WILL be very cool when it's done!

In many cases, there are no drugs available which can help
