Frankly, if this one's as described, 10 grand is a steal...... I was expecting to see a price twice that..... I generally don't care for early 50's stuff, but this one is SHARP.
I never did get why MoPar understated their Hemi engine output HP. Back then, it was done before the transmission, BHP came later (Brake HorsePower). We had two 1955 Chrysler New Yorkers with 331 Hemis. Way more than 195 HP! And torque to pull a mule team! Beautiful wagon, for sure.
Nice looking Mopar and $10K does sound like a great price. Somebody's going to grab this baby, for sure.
More iron NOW LEMME SEE. IF I KNOCK OUT THAT NORTH WALL, 'BOUT 4 YARDS AH 6 BAG MIX, COUPLAH 4X6S AN 2X12S? YAH, NOW IF I CAN JUST TURN HER LOOSE WITH THE VISA FOR AH WEEK WITHOUT HAVIN' TAH MORTGAGE THE PONDEROSA BY THE TIME SHE GETS BACK IT'LL BE AH DONE DEAL, AND THAT BEAUTY WILL BE IN HIDING. SHE NEVER LOOKS AT THAT SIDE OF THE POLE BARN ANYWAY
After still looking at this car I'm wondering why it hasn't sold for that money. I swear....if my wagon was up and running with the new engine I would sell it and go get that Chrysler if it is as solid as it looks to be. I love this car.
Thanks, cuda. I wouldn't have thought that it could last 10 minutes at that money. Sure do love that car. Glad it sold....saves me the trouble of trying to make a deal!
