Probably not quite what was in mind for this section, but this is my old school solution to a problem.

My cargo area looked like crap. Sure, nobody else sees it, but I see it twice a year during my pre-and post- winter clean-up. I was going to clean-up the area and go over everything with body-color white, but then I got thinking, why not spatter paint...... I had last Friday off and it took virtually no time.

Wasn't really much for prep. Just pulled most panels, pushed-back the one that wouldn't come out without taking out the rear seatback. Then I taped and papered it, did a wipe-down, and had at it with trunk paint.

The during pic is prior to heading back to the parts store for a 2nd can. In the end everything covered very nicely.

Between this, and the undercoating I did on the bottom-side of the cargo area Thursday evening, the noise levels dropped off a nice amount. It wasn't loud before, but my exhaust level has dropped, which is nice.

Well that turned out quite nicely. And yes this is the place to show all your improvements and ideas.
