1972 Mercury Montego

Been around before... very rare, but very rough.

IDK if it would even make a good derby car.

 

Not a wagon, but here is a '72 Montego Brougham 4dr sedan... again, a rare car. Looks solid, but looks like it has been under water at some point? I could be wrong.

Unfortunately, the wagon needs a LOT of work. At best it is likely a collection of parts that still looks like a car. A shame, as it is a rare one to be sure. The good news is that it is a Torino under the skin, and most mechanical parts are common to the 72-79 midsized Ford and Mercury models, and even some of the Lincoln Mark coupes. There were millions of them made, so parts are really not difficult, and not expensive at all.
