Pics from AACA Carlisle show and Leesburg VA show *****I have corrected the links to the photo albums. The links should work now******* The first Saturday of June is always the evening the nearby town of Leesburg, Virginia closes the streets to traffic and hosts a car show in the middle of town. But a buddy of mine told me about this year's AACA Spring Nationals antique car show that would be held on the fairgrounds at Carlisle, Pennsylvania this year on the same day. I decided to attend both shows. Here are four albums of pictures from Carlisle and one album from Leesburg. Along with all those beautiful cars at Carlisle and Leesburg, was my p.o.s. 02 Passatt wagon in the spectator parking lot. In all the years I've had the Passatt, this is the first and only pic that I've ever taken of it. Its covered with dirt and pollen and I haven't washed it yet this year.
Naughty Facelook! "Content currently not available"................thks for posting a few wagons Jim.
This one appears to have a late-model (Tahoe?) 4WD chevy frame and running gear underneath. Check out the 6-bolt hubs.
Krash, I was literally running past that 55 and stopped to snap a quick pic. I noticed it sat kind of high, but didn't notice it was 4 wheel drive. With those wheels, I'm thinking it could be a Jeep Wagoneer underneath. By the way, heres a pic of your favorite car from the show. The Mohs Safarikar. I remember reading something about these cars back in the 70's. I recall them being about twice the price of a new Ferrari at the time, and they were (and still are) ugly. This is the only one I've ever seen and I hope to never see another. I don't even get why they were built.
I have corrected the links in the original post in this thread (post #1) for those who couldn't view them before. The links to the photo albums should work now.
