I'm kinda torn on this one, weather to look at it or not....but I recently passed on a Buick 72/73 full size Buick that needed a gas tank, and other things....now this one comes up and it's a Merc:banghead3: But the gas tank thing, and what else does it need....no time but alot of dreams:banghead3:

Well I PM'd the Rev about it.....guess it's in god's hands now:rofl2: The other wagon (beater Buick) found me so it wasn't like I was waisting anyones time but over all the car was to far gone for me and it sold. If Rev is intersted I will gladly view it and take a ziliion pics but I'm not going to contact the seller myself because I also hate "lookey loo's" But for the Rev to come here and get it.... need a bank loan just for the ferrie, never mind a entire long day.........

But the Rev is rich, soooo....SAVE IT REV!:D(y)

Hey, I keep tellin' you guys - It's not your responsibility to save 'em all.......particularly the 'ordinary' ones like this one. You gotta pick and choose which ones you can save.

This is one RARE wagon. Not many Meteor wagons left, I'm sure, since they were Canadian market only. The good news is that the mechanicals are strictly by the book Ford/Mercury parts. How hard would it be to find the tank for a 72 Ford/Mercury wagon? The rest of the car looks nice and solid, although better pictures would be a big help.

Well I got the Rev hum'n and a haw'n about it:dancing: Just had a nice lil phone chat with him and I'll take a look at it for him.

I just spoke the the school's shop teacher...... rite off the bat he asked if I was gona demo it! Was kinda funny to say, ''wait till ya see what I arive in, you won't have to worry:rofl2:'' He said he's had alot of demo calls and does not want to sell it to them.

Tells me the car is in amazing condition, it had sat for 10 years when the school got it and the tank was removed for cleaning by the students.....and when they went to put the tank back in, the fuil pickup was no where to be found (damned kids) so it's hooked up to a boat gas tank, says it runs great!

Soooooo, I'm going to view it a 2 this afternoon. They are even gona put it up on the hoist for me, for pics. 400 engine, seats in the way back, he says it's just the paint witch makes it look bad.

Better pics will be on the way................

Geez, Rev will be biting his fingernails in anticipation. He's really in dire need of a Ford Stationwagon :whew: He's half a quart, I mean he's one car shy with an open space somewhere in his yard. :clap:
