Well, I saw that car in Sommerville NJ at a show. This is all hearsay from the owner at the time (Wicked Rides). It was made for some church related uses, nuns used it for years. They parked it, and rotted into the ground. Someone came along and rescued it. I don't know how true that is, it honestly looks like an airport limo from the 60's. Lengthened wagons weren't uncommon for that use. Wicked rides then proceeded to rip out the drive train and drop in a viper v10/6 speed combo without doing any cosmetic and/or rot repair. :/
Being it's unitized construction from back in the early 60's, it's not the kind of wagon you would really want to turn into an airport limo. But then again, there's this....
Nunrunner? Well that's different. Nice drivetrain. Reminds me of a 60s Dodge truck that they just threw in a new drivetrain and added some door decals. I guess that is the rat rod's influence.
Is there an "airport limo" section in these boards? I've seen a lot of eight-door limo wagons over the years, even including Checkers and suburbans! Lots of other special use wagons out there including Cad and Suburban Hearses and ambulances!
