I'd add one of these, though....

Well I still haven't gotten it on the road.:(
I went through it and only changed fluids & filters, everything else checked out fine. Really unbelievable for a northern car.

Life has really thrown some curves this year derailing all plans I had. My dad has had some serious health issues and is currently in palliative care in the hospital 90 miles from my place. I had brought my mom to live at my place after she suffered several mini strokes a few years ago. It's gotten to the point where she needs more care than I can provide and keep working so the search is on for long term care....the golden years ain't so golden.

Sorry to babble on about personal problems when all you asked was how I was making out with the wagon.
I really do want to take some holidays and take it on a nice long tour!

LE-P-I that's a beauty! And it has AC and the third row seats, two things mine doesn't have.

    It still looks the same...

Some literature that came with it....

Hello to everybody, I am very sorry that I did not reply to your coments, things are going different sometimes.
The silver Wagon did get his new owner back in 2015 but not in the straight way. Anyway it did come to the one who cares about him.
It is still in Germany as far as I know.
@patrick80 Yes you are right the wheels are a great match for this wagon, I was happy to get them in the US right before I imported him.
    @ jwdtenn thanks
@gcs005 Did you get yours on the road now? Yours is almost a twin of mine I still have, I also do not have the third row, but I do have the AC and it is in working order. As you can see I do have some other cars too but the wagon is very special for me. The literature I did get also from the preowner of my green wagon Leon, got it now also as a CD.
I did spend him the sports mirrors just as my 1988 wagon did have. looks great with them. Will post a picture ...
@pyasher thank you for the wishes, they did come true as I did tell before.
@Krash Kadillak is it also a Wagon and is it also a 77? Could be but has not to be either.. ;-)

I wish everybody a great Christmas and a Happy NewYear 2021 even there are a view days to go...

Also love the Marquis Brougham in the background. Is it a ‘72?

Mercury sure had some awesome cars back then. They got real close to Lincoln, maybe too close.
