It's fugly but I would love to have it 1956 eh.......is it just me or does it look like Ford may have stolen the idea for the roof line for the 63-66 Mercurys.....sure looks like a Merc Breeze Way roof put on a wagon backwards.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...and this beholder thinks the Plainsman is freeking awesome and beautiful! I love the styling of Virgil Exner, and I am so glad to know that this Ghia-built masterpiece still exists. It is most certainly a madcap showwagon, but it pointed the way for all of Chrysler's incredible wagons of the late '50's and early '60's. Love it! David
It's WILD! I'll take it! The Lincoln either stole from this car or this car stole from the Lincoln. I don't remember the year exactly, but Lincoln had front AND back fenders like that sometime in the 50's.
