    1956 eh.......is it just me or does it look like Ford may have stolen the idea for the roof line for the 63-66 Mercurys.....sure looks like a Merc Breeze Way roof put on a wagon backwards.:rofl2:

    Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...and this beholder thinks the Plainsman is freeking awesome and beautiful!

    I love the styling of Virgil Exner, and I am so glad to know that this Ghia-built masterpiece still exists. It is most certainly a madcap showwagon, but it pointed the way for all of Chrysler's incredible wagons of the late '50's and early '60's.

    It's WILD! I'll take it! :D The Lincoln either stole from this car or this car stole from the Lincoln. I don't remember the year exactly, but Lincoln had front AND back fenders like that sometime in the 50's.
