We've got a neighbour down the block that's lending us their garage to store stuff during the renos. Ain't big enough. So I went and bought some materials and started make the base frame, from some 6 X 6 rot-proofed cedar that I got from an old school playground. Should be up by Wednesday. So if I ain't around much, you know why.

Got a new front door - Fiberglass Oak grain, actually got 2, for $29? I'll stain and hang them this week. This national chain got them from a US factory (Masonite) as seconds. I lucked out at the middle of the pile. Excellent condition!

If I'm real lucky, I get the shed painted too, but that depends on Ma Nature.

You know me, it took a year to get 8 coats on the car. :D

Actually, I'm using Microsoft Project Manager and a huge whiteboard to knock off about 15 projects in a logical sequence. Can't do the roof, without moving the roof stacks to the west side of the house (new bathroom, and kitchen plumbing being relocated), can't insulate and drywall until all the wiring is done, new kneewalls upstairs, All new straight stairs to upstairs AND basement. Etc. :whew:

The more I do, the less my muscles keep howling for linament.

Right now, like his back-end! A shower is in my future 15 minutes.

Absorbine Jr. works fine. Tylenol is too easy to reach for. After all this exersize I'm flexible enough to reach the sore ones. The wife gets tired just watchng me!:rofl2:

Floor, frame, walls and roof go up tomorrow. Rain is in the cards by Thursday.

My little trailer is a real trooper. I was out by our Junkyard zone, where I knew about a demolition company that runs a Salvage Supermarket:

    http://www.salvagesupermarket.com/ProductCart/pc/home.asp

Somehow they got a load of 2" X 4" X 8' bundles from Canadian Forest Products that were all wrapped and rejected. 9 bundles of about 200 pieces each. The long and short of it is, that they cost about $4.60 each at Home Despot. I paid $1.20 each - no taxes. I needed about 100 pieces, so I bought 120. Just paid for the trailer's insurance for 6 years! (y)

I could have taken more without overloading too, about 50 more.
