I remember this wagon was for sale for ~15k on some site(or was it just on ebay?). Anyone remember the site or know if it was sold?
Nope. And I'll be the first to admit that I am embarrassed to say that I'm not even sure I know what it is!? But I'd sure love to OWN it! '72 Pontiac?
I remember seeing the ad, but not where it was. From what I remember, the car was special-ordered with some unusual equipment. I think the ad said it was ordered by some fire chief or something - it had the 440 police package, a steel sliding sunroof, power seat, BUT NO POWER WINDOWS.
Yeah...has the Chrysler family shape I guess. But I don't remember Dodge/Plymouth ever having flip up headlights. But then...that was back when, for a short while, my interests had turned from cars to women. Later, I learned that starlets aren't nearly as dependable or satisfying as the cars.
1972 Fury III 9-passenger wagon - one-of-one car. 440 auto, spotlights, 140 mph certified cop speedo, power sunroof, lots of other power options... $35,000 is what the owner was asking for it. No, it's not mine.
BTW, the car is a 1972 Plymouth Fury Sport Suburban Brougham, there are more pics in the gallery. http://stationwagonforums.com/forums/gallery/browseimages.php?c=18
