Its a very nice wagon, but I just don't like a red interior on a yellow car or yellow paint on a car with red interior. In pictures it doesn't really look yellow, but I saw this car at the Carlisle Ford show last year and took a few pics. In this picture, the car in the foreground is white. The yellow color doesn't really come across as yellow in the pictures.

Very nice and rare car but according to the data plate the car was originally painted Champagne which is more of a gray color. The seller says it's yellow but it looks like Corinthian white to me? It has a sort of a yellow tint to it but in that last pic it looks really yellow so who knows, Ford didn't even offer a yellow for those cars . That color is a major mistake in any case, you can't restore a car to factory original and change the color to what you like, especially with a super rare car like that. It's a known fact that it can and usually will lower the value by thousands. It also disqualifies the car for entry into factory original restored classes at most major shows or will knock a ton of points off in judging if it is accepted. It may have been possible to get special order paint but the data plate should show that if it was. He'll probably sell it for real good money and some guys won't care about the color a bit but it's a shame to spend that much on a resto and blow it by changing the paint color. I think the car would look really sharp painted Champagne with the red interior.
You wouldn't paint the White House purple if you restored it would you?? The current residents would probably prefer it that way though.
The dude should learn how to spell and write a decent description too.

I've seen the wagon before in person, and its definitely yellow. Its a sort of cream-yellow, but would never be mistaken for white in person.

I actually thought that "champagne" was more of a light goldish tan color like on this wagon. I scanned this page from the Ford 1962 Annual Report to Stockholders booklet.

This one is definitely yellow. The E-bay ad lists it as yellow as well.

And to me, the bright red interior wouldn't look good with either exterior color. It would look good with a black, white, silver, gray, red or maroon exterior, but not champagne or yellow.

The one below is in corinthian white (scanned in from the 1963 Ford Digest buyers guide).

That is a stunning car no matter what the colour and the last year for fins.

I didn't see the ad text that said it was yellow. Sure looked white to me........
Jim saw it, so I'll take his word for it! I would go for it if it was maybe off-white, or a 'creme' color. Yellow? - no.

oh those options, or lack there-of

These wagons are looking plenty good. Working security a while back, helped a woman look for the champagne colored car she's lost on the parking structure--- it was a pink color...:49:
