    Love the pics :yup: :tiphat:

When it comes to professional vehicles I have always been more drawn to hearses than ambulances. Admittedly it's the aesthetic appeal of them.

I like the 70s and older Cadis best. I feel that Cadillac lost some of its style in the front end after that. Always loved Cadillac's tail lights though.

In the "For what it's Worth" Dept., no pics, but I remember 1 Adam 12, the sgt. always had a Mopar wagon. Not computer literate enough to get pics even IF I could find them.

Well into the 90's here in Victoria The Esqimalt police dep were not just police, but Fire Men, and Paramedics. They did not drive station wagons but the trucks of there Impalas were loaded tite will all the gear.

KKK-1822-A mandated that all ambulances met certain mechanical/electrical/ and safety standards, including lights, sirens, and other markings. These standards are updates every five years and the current standards are KKK-1822-F, with a review/update coming soon.
Prior to KKK-1822-A, there were no standards for ambulances, unless the states themselves issued standards, which most did not.

I have always liked the Magnum ever since it came out. Such a great station wagon body style with the chopped sloping rear roof. I Thought the last year of the Magnum in 2008 was one of the best looking SRT-8 hoods and front ends ever put on a Magnum IMO.
I had a chance to drive a few of them when new in 07 and 08. Those things Flew and handled incredible all at once! Quite an acheivement for a wagon at the time.

It would have been something to see police forces use the SRT-8 6.1 versions instead of the 5.7 non SRT-8 version.

The SRT-8 Jeep was something too. Actually thought the seats felt better than the Charger or Magnum, even though they may have been the same seat?

    Neat wagons....
