    $300 cash.....

    1 POS power winch...a freebee.....

    $148 for towing......:slap:

    1 more hole in the head......price less:29:

And in my drive way sits a 1972 beateor Riduea 500......awe man it's beautiful:yup:

If Rev don't want it, no problem..........

....whay that no goood (*&^%%$$$*()))*&^%%$% !!!!!

    Just kidding:yup:.......:rofl2:

If Rev don't want it, I'll gladly keep it!:pub:.......My Mom Said I could!:bouncy:

Wagon is way to nice to let it get demo'd or scrapped

Was a intersting buy thats for sure. Went and looked and the teacher was dead firm on $500, and it would have to be gone by the weekend.

Rev and I wagon sex phone chated about that.....

Next day the ad price drops to $400! I phone and leave a WTF message!!!!

After a bunch of bla, bla I'm told i can have it for $400......I say NO!

Anyways, when I viewed the car another guy came to the school's shop and asked if they could use a free engine hoist and the teacher was all over that. Sooooo I said $300 and how about a power winch, seems you need stuff? The deal was made. The winch owed me nothing....I couldn't even sell it at our yard sale last summer for $40.

So then I'm escorted to the office ( was like memory lane when I was in school:yup::rofl2:) and waited to pay sitting in a really small chair, in school office. Man, it was memory lane:rofl2:

When I went to view it my camera packed it in so I only have a few pics, but here they are at the school...........

I don't know what you said, but it looks like you got a nice wagon for good money. Congrats!

Wonder what that thingy on the tailgate is for, is it made for a key?

Maybe it's a powerlet for your Ipod when you are at the beach! :biglaugh:

I wonder if the little thing on the tailgate door is to fill a tailgate window washer. The big Mercs back then had an option to roll down a dirty window, push some button and the window would roll up cleaned. Could be the filler port???

My mother had a 72 Marquis Brougham (the pillared sedan). I remember reading the owners manual several times during my childhood on trips from El Paso to Phoenix...quite the boring drive...and that there was a window washer option available on the wagons.

Man, I am jealous of you guys! You stole that thing for less than scrap value! It looks really solid, too, which is so very unusual around these parts! I think that is the first 72 Meteor I've seen. I did see a 73 Meteor Montcalm sedan on a movie set once. Lucky car, it was too ugly to blow up! I wanted it but had nowhere to put it! Like this wagon, it was solid, but not exactly pretty. I have a feeling I have to move out there to be able to fill my driveway with the cars I most want!
