This is an old trick I used on our '69 Chrysler's (fake) wood grain side panels. Old English Lemon-oil Furniture Polish >> really lather it on. You should smell lemons 5 feet away. LOL I've used a product called Weiman Lemon Oil or Wiemans or something like that .. but the Old English worked best. Dont get me wrong .. this was not a long term solution and the woodgrain would start to fade out again (usually by the end of a week) but my Dad had me washing the cars every weekend anyway. Yes - I know it isn't real wood (bla bla bla) but anything that gets your Dad to say, "WOW, howdcha get the paneling to look so good?!" is worth defying the laws of common since. Thanks / wpb
Especially if you can't run faster scared than he can when mad! Just don't use a product with silicone in it. It eventually makes the vinyl start to crack and checker.
