    $4,500

This is apparently a home-made camper. One of the best-built ones I've seen

This is a rare ride... go camping as is or hotrod it out with Cragers and a blower it has a 402 motor and runs great. Got a trade? Let me know what you got. I could use a quad, trailer, classic ride. Send me a email and I will get back to you. Eric

    Too bad it's a Chevrolet.
For that kind of money I'd want an Oldsmobile, or at least a Pontiac.

I like it. Used to be a lot of these homemade "truck" campers years ago. Most started out with a rearended wagon.

Most of these I've seen used the corrugated aluminum siding over a stick-built frame. This one appears to have hand-laid fiberglas. Almost looks like factory-built (not GM, a RV factory...)

I guess luck keeps it from tipping over while cornering.

I always wanted one of those large truck slide-in campers but was afraid it would tip over on curves. Be my luck I'd forget the overhead bunk was there when I pulled in the drive-thru or an RV park with overhanging trees.
At least with 5th wheel RV's and a motorhome I could see what's there.

Those were the Great Dale Housecars. http://housecar.com/j003_Dale_House_Car_Story.html That Chevy definitely looks factory built. While searching Google for car camper, I came up with some other examples of cars converted to campers.
