    Hello
My father said you will love a car like this someday, well he was right. Just got my first Wagon. Looking forward to the joys of 10mpg, I have an unrestored 1978 Mercury Marquis, I'm unable to verify the mileage so i'll have to say it's turned over. It was a classic barn find and once i cleaned her up this is what i got. The boys have named it the Shaggin Wagon and no way are they ever taking it to prom.

    Thanks

Cat, you youngsters are so inexperienced. You'll find out when you get older.

Booger, :Welcome: to the wagon forum and that is one great looking wagon. At least you'll look good burning the fuel. Mercurys are awesome cars.:thumbs2:

But I drove a convertible and a Vette coupe with a T-top! There was no headliner.:jumping:------On a sad note---when I was younger we didn't have to worry about how much fuel we burned. We didn't have to get a bank loan to fill the tank.

I have a vivid memory of the camel's hair headliner in my 56 Chevy and the dust in the air when fingernails were dragged across it.!! ...... ah-chooo!

Maybe this wagon is like Las Vegas ... ie, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
