Hey, guys, I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Billy and I'm from Fort Worth, Haslet area, actually. I have a Ford addiction. The reason I joined is that I have a 1966 Ford Ranch Wagon that is a rust free, original paint car from California. It's been my daily driver for 2 1/2 years now. It's a great driver. The only issue is the lack of AC and that is fixed easily enough. I've added buckets and console from a '66 XL and sewed the rear seat cover to match, so it looks sorta factory. I look forward to learning a lot here.

Welcome Billy. If that's one of your screwed up cars, I wonder what the good ones look like. Beautiful.;)

:Welcome:FoMoCoMan1. Kind of a long handle to type. Fantastic wagon. Almost original with those period XL seats and console you'd never know.

NICE!!! Those are the best looking wheel covers Ford ever made. When I was a kid our neighbor bought a new 66 Custom Short Chevy truck in black with factory a/c, auto and 350 horse 327. Chrome factory bumpers front and rear. It was a COPO truck. It was gorgeous and the first place he went when he picked it up was straight to the Ford dealer and bought a set of those wheel covers for it. they sure looked good on that Chevy.

A fellow up in McKinney is buying my wagon to go with his five Capris. He also has a beautiful 75 Cougar so I think he's buying mine to keep it company. He's definately a Mercury afficionado.

Wow, that is a spectacular wagon. I'm loving that it's all stock original including the wheel covers. What a great addition the buckets are and it's so cool that they're from a '66 as well. Did you move the shift to the floor or keep it on the column?

I have the shifter on the column now. I have a floor shifter, but something about cutting a hole in an otherwise perfect floor gives me the hibbie jibbies. I need to find the boot that fits around the shift linkage, then I may go for it.
