Hello dear stationwagonfans..... This is the first time that I'am on this forum. I'll have buyed a 1976 Ford Gran Torino Squire wagon in Canada and let it shipped to the Netherlands! After become the right papers and the licenseplates in the Netherlands, I'am now ready to drive, of course only when its good weather! There is not a lot of work to do on the car because he is in a perfect condition, but a few things must be worked on. I'll hope on this side to find parts and other things for my Ford Torino! I want to give you all my excuses for my english writing, maybe its better to wright you in the future in dutch! Greetings from Holland-Netherlands
to the site, there are some members here with great knowledge. We will help you in anyway we can. Please post us up some pictures of the car to drool over. Your english is pretty good, I can understand what you are saying, but if you say something in Dutch, I will not understand a word of it, if it was in Tagalog (Filipino) I could, but not Dutch.
Yes,post some pics of this magnificent road machine. And don't worry about your English,it'll do just fine. There are a few folks here at the forums(and elsewhere),born and raised in Canada or America, with worse English skills than you. And,keep in mind, that what we speak here in the USA,the English call American. But then, they call the country we live in "Ameriker",so---
GTS congrats on the purchase!! got it from Canada eh? well depending on where in Canada...will depend on how rusty she is
Quite so,we all know the definition of Colony Park, even when Mercury employees don't.There might even be Ford employees who don't know that Squire means woodie package.
Welcome to the site! Don't worry about your english, if the Americans and the Canadians can both understand it, we're good to go!
