There's a 71 Ford Ranchero for sale locally. 302 V8. Best body style IMO.

Hummmm. Sell the wagon? and the Ranger. Replace with one car/pickup requiring NO EMISSIONS TEST.

Ready for a change, eh? Nice rig if you get it for a good price. You should still be able to get the cargo roof for those too, right? Why not? :)

There's a couple of them there, from CA too:

Well I better not tempt you any more. RK and I would be all over the contest! :biglaugh:

The little bit of info that I did find is that the Rancheros are usually included with other models (Maverick, Torino, and truck forums OR Muscle cars.)

    Here's a few more sites:

A bit of bathroom reading. :D

I was gonna say we could build our own until I saw this article. It seems 15 really good mechanics got together in Italy and started building repros of old 1980 Ferraris. They were arrested:

Thats why I said buy not build... Less chance of having to run to another country to keep from going to jail.:biglaugh:

Probably right, RK. So far here, the registration service will let me register my own Make and Model to get it licensed. I read that article and wondered how the VW kit guys made it through those issues in California.

I've been in a few Ranchero web sites but haven't seen it. I'd like to. I can picture a squire done up that way in my mind's eye. I've already talked myself out of it even thought the asking price is $1,100. I don't need a project. At least not mechanical. I've just got my truck clutch right and the wagon running nice. Which I'll drive to work today after lunch.:D Beautiful mid 70's weather today. Spring is here.

I downloaded the Wood graining articles from 64Squire's post yesterday. Much better than what I did on my mouldings. They cover any use you can think of. 3 of them are for use on interior (dash, etc.) and exterior use on cars. I'll bet you could do a whole car's replacement vinyl area with a better finish. Might take a few months, though.
