I saw 2 Buick Tour X Wagons today. One was Maroon, the other Silver. Both were within a mile of each other, and I only got a photo of the Silver one. The Silver one was in the same parking lot where I saw the Dodge Magnum yesterday.

Come to think of it, this Silver Tour X could be the one I saw the other week.

I got photos of the other Buick Tour X that I saw yesterday. The driver was a little TOO protective of it, though; the tires were touching the curb.

Spotted in - wait a second.

Well, "store spotting in the toy aisle," anyhow.

We have had a few "unsanctioned" cruise nights here in Yakima. Once the weather warmed up folks couldn't resist and started flooding the streets downtown with cool classics, muscle machines, hopped up trucks and everything in between.
Our city council is a bunch of stuffed shirts and they threw a fit, threatening to cite anyone they thought was cruising.
Well, thankfully we have enough community leaders that didn't think that was nice and basically told the council members to lighten up.

Sooooo this past Saturday was the first "official" cruise night downtown. It was great. There were tons of people, lots of cool rides and of course a few station wagons.

This 57 was cool. I had never seen it before. It's a work in progress and I'm glad they brought it out.

Talked to the old boy who owns this Rambler. He pulled it out of Poor Boys (local wrecking yard) last fall!

Then there was this group. They are a Pacific Northwest chapter of an Impala club. There were folks from all over the PNW that had come to town for a meet and they came cruising. I told one of the members that I hadn't seen that many 90's Impala SS's in one spot since a Super Chevy Show I went to when I was 15!

All in all it was a great evening. We had a lot of fun.

Tell the Rambler owner the next time you see him, nice save!

I have a soft spot for the 90’s ss’s. Very cool. Nice pics. So is the back passenger of 57 Chevy flipping the bird or what?!

I always loved that root beer brown color on those ‘57’s. From the picture it also looks like it’s missing the wipers, which in Washington is a real crap shoot.

    So do I.

 NO! They're waving. It's a younger fellow and he was very excited to see another old station wagon.

Everyone thinks Washington has rain 362 1/2 days of the year. That's only true if you live on the west side of the Cascade mountain range. We're actually in a rain-shadow. If it wasn't for irrigation the only thing that would grow here would be sagebrush and cheat grass.

Sheee-yitttt, I've had more rain in the last five months here in South Texas, than in one year of Western Washington's 'liquid sunshine.'

I noticed in the pics at your Grandaddy’s memorial the hill in the background looked like a desert. I was going to ask but didn’t want to take away from the post with my geographical ignorance

No worries Grizz. Yes, Central Washington is considered high-plains desert. It's very dry.

I saw this little FORD Escort wagon at the local hardware store on Saturday.
