He's getting a camera! I suspect server upgrades might be necessary once the photo-documentation begins.
Yeah! Now I can get even with the guys that pulled that on me. It's a Canon PowerShot A560. I'm still reading the manuals, and I got Spanish manuals for my wife off the web (Canon's Global site.) Looks like a nice rig, with enough features to compensate for my rookie skills. Another day or so and I'll start posting. I need a different USB port or cable (wider) at the PC end.
You'd think that if TV mfrs throw in all the extra cables you'll never use, that Canon could throw in a USB cable for both types of USB cable connections. Not! HandyAndy is on the hunt. I can't install the software without the cable and camera connected. BUT, this camera can make HUGE photos. And I've got just the printer. I've got an HP1000C that prints 11" X 17" in gorgeous color. Does a great job of full color pictures too. I may have to go to a printer to get glossy sheets, but it really does a nice job. Now I just have to find the right cars. I have to take the pics with this camera in several of its regular modes. It even takes Audio/Visual movies. Gonna be fun! My wife always pulls off pranks on me, when I'm taking a bath, with the film cameras. I keep telling her that she won't get them developed. I'm screwed now!
Now you can take an 11 x 17 of your wagon and hang it on the wall so you can look at it in the winter when it's snow covered!
Have you ever wanted to be a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit photographer? Heres a 'G' [barely] rated site where YOU can direct Daniella while you click away. It should be fun to play with before you get comfortable enough to begin shooting with your Cannon. [groan] http://www.directdaniella.com/ Its sponsored by Taco Bell, so there isn't any nudity, but she does have a fabulous tan. Something the still frozen Norm lacks. Or maybe can't even imagine!
I've got to get a cable. Andy thinks he may have one to test with and then we'll go to a place that sells them used (30 day warranty). It works or it don't right? I got my big printer there when it was only a year old for 1/6th the price of new. They sell on EBAY too, but they haven't got anything there right now. http://www.syrotech.mb.ca/ Good guys, straight shooters. They handle the Monitor and Cathode TV recycling for Manitoba.
