I was in Tuesday evening rush hour and caught a glimpse of it. Northbound 77 in Charlotte, NC. I could tell from some distance it was a 55 or 56 pontiac by the tailfins. Turned out to be a black and tan Safari with GA antique tags. (or was it white & Tan???) Anyhow, traffic was horrible and he was hanging way back. Sure looked nice at a glance.

Safari's were made to be driven. Actually, all vintage cars were intended to be out on the highway, enjoyed thoroughly, and put to bed every night with a gentle pat on the hood on the way out of the shop, and a hearty "good night, stuff" to the shop and cars as you turn out the lights and double lock the door.

Glad to hear someone is out using their Safari.
