Thanks for leting me in the gerage look forward to talking with you all about renching, and getting these wagons on the road again. I'm Nate and I'm a Tattoo artist. I'm an owner of a 64' Pontiac Catalina Wagon that just doesnt fit me and didnt like the idea of chopping up a perfect car to build into a Rat Rod so if interested let me know.
Hey Nate, Welcome to the forum! Nice looking Catalina wagon! You're right, it's too nice to chop! Now that your in the garage, kick back, make yourself at home and show us more pics of that beauty! David
Thanks! Just thought people would have more interest in it! I was told bye a guy on hotrodders.com to come here to offer it out to someone who would take care of her, but every time I post it I get yelled at! I guess I dont know what I'm doing so back to hotrodders? thanks again everyone.
Tryed to sit back and relax! Is'nt workin I try to use the site and I get chewed out for mistakes, sorry everyone dont need that crap! try helping people next time before biting off heads. Thanks to the others for the hositality though!
Hey Nate, hang in there with us! This group has some of the nicest, warmhearted guys in the hobby. I know you weren't given the warmest of welcomes, and I'm not sure why:confused:, but I am glad you came here to let us know about your wagon you are trying to sell. Yeah, we have some rules (helpful suggestions) on how to post wagons for sale, but to use the garage analogy, I'd be happy to have a guy poke his head in the door and let the group know of a sweet wagon he has up for sale. We should say, "pull up a seat and tell us about it...show us some pics, and have a cold one!" Stick around, check out some of the other wagons and chat with us. David
Just ran into this site well looking for answers on Rat Rods. I'm a Tattoo Artist that is new to this hobby I always thought 2 wheels were better then 4, tell I ran in to some new friends that Hot Rod and Rat Rod! It's just grown on me. So I went out and bought a 1964 Pontiac Catalina 4 dr wagon with a small block 6.4L/389ci (mint motor&tranny) "I got a screaming deal on it so don't laugh like my buddy's did." I just want to rat it out some how but me and my friends don't know where to start with a station wagon so I just want some more ideas please help and thanks. P.S. I added the Pic. of the Catalina and the Rat Rod I would like to build some day if not bye summer! Thanks again everyone.
Wow, tatoo, that '57 Plym is a cool looking car. I'm not a big fan of customs, but I have to say you did an outrageous job on that car. Really a sharp ride. I haven't been able to find a pic of your '64 yet. Is it on the site somewhere. Welcome to the site. Hang in there; don't abandon us for hotrods. We're really a nice bunch of guys; maybe a little nutty when it comes to our wagons, but then everybody needs a little craziness in their lives.
OK! I just got corrected on the hotrodder site so try not to give me too hard of time:confused: I just went bye what I was told about the cars motor, like I said to him "I'm a welder not that much of a wrencher." So sorry for the confusion.
Sorry SNOOTER the '57 Plymouth is just the style I was thinkin on going with on the '64 Pontiac(not mine)I'll make sure to note it next time. The only car thats mine, that I posted is the "64 Pontiac Catalina the others are just some sweet rides I found and thought about using for templets!
Oh, okay, sorry, my bad. Your '64 looks to be in great shape. If I were you, I'd hang onto it, drive it like it is because it's so cool, and then do what you want to it down the road when you get the money.
