The annual Cotton Festival will be held next Sat. the 10th. There is a car show in conjunction with it that usually brings around 50-70 cars. Food vendors, live bands til dark, etc.

The library is having a book sale on Sat.....hardbacks $2.00 and paperbacks $.50 All books newer that 2000 and most are once read and then donated.

Likewise, there is a large gun and knife show on Sat and Sun.

Big weekend.....lots to do for the family.

Sounds like fun. Unfortunately it's a little too far for my family and I to attend.

Pictures of selected vehicles at the show. It was pouring rain and I took them from underneath an umbrella. Still aound 50 brave souls who brought their cars out for display. Only 3 wagons.

Nice photos, especially like the 56 Chevy with the skirts, 58 Ford wagon and the Mercury Cyclone. The black Roadrunner was interesting. Do not remember ever seeing one in black when they were new although they probably existed. Mopar paint jobs were not the best at that time.

Looks like a great turnout despite the rain. Doubt there were many kids going down the inflatable slides,
