    Hi, All:

This forum is how I found out about woodgrain4wagons and Mick Hoglund. I worked with Mick to do the woodgrain decal as well as the trim.

There's some adjustment of the trim parts left to do as well as one final piece that Mick's completing this week. I'll post more pix once it's all figured out, but here are a couple for the time being.

Mick and his guys are awesome, and they really care about what they're doing. I highly recommend you contact them with your needs.

I'm ecstatic at the results; see what you think.

Thanks for posting those excellent pics of the Fairlane with Mick's woodgrain/trim.

That car has to be Burnt Amber. So its fair to say: Im still going with the original color on the squire...BURNT AMBER!! That just looks awsome.

Beautiful job. What are you using to get that nice sheen on it?

I assume you mean the gloss on the trim? That's clear, sprayed over the woodgrain base. I tried to shoot some close-ups of it a couple nights ago, but there was not enough light. Will try again tomorrow during the day.

I do think it looks killer, both from a distance as well as up-close.

No, on the vinyl woodgrain itself, not the mouldings. I went satin clearcoat on those, but left the vinyl, because my original (baked in the Mexican sun) was all checked. I suspect somebody used something on it. :banghead3:

The decal is something Mick can produce either in a matte-like (like original) finish or a glossy. I toyed with going glossy but elected instead for the more traditional look.

I got a couple shots of the trim up-close; the focus is not as great as I wish, but these are representative of the "grain" applied to the pieces.
