Felt a little blue watching the caprice drive away. The guy beat me up good on price but I was short on time. One in the hand worth two in the bush blah blah blah. I wish I was able to keep it and get the 75 Olds. I grew up getting butt whippings beside a 85 caprice wagon on the side of the road.Lots of good times to. The 75 stirs memories as well. Similar to the 76 Chevy(the chevy had stacked rectangular headlights) that my grandparents had and my dad had after their deaths. So I get good memories of Grandparents and my dad with one wagon. I remember Dad talking about "blowing it out" when he'd stomp that 76.He was just trying to justify his need for speed. Plus most 8 boys enjoy that deep drone of a 4 barrel. We both had smiles. Not that i am gonna abuse it but I hope the Olds 350 will scoot like the chevy 350.
always sad to see a good friend walk away like that, but it will only last until you get attatched to another
Been there. Sorry to see a good one go. When my '96 Roady wagon pulled out of my driveway the last time it REALLY hurt. We get attached to these cars! Much like putting the old family dog down, the trick is to get a new dog as quicks as possible. Ha! -Mike
