Hey Guys - I would really like to see everyone's "custom" paint jobs on your wagons. You know, any non-original paint job from simple two-tones and stripes to road muarls and custom rods.:2_thumbs_up_-_anima
I went almost stock. I'm using Tremclad/Rustoleum's Chestnut Brown to replace the original tan metallic. I got the original Woodgrain vinyl made by Spartan, through JC Whitney. Spartan was bought up by Avery Dennison a few years ago. But the company with the wildest selection of woodgrain is 3M! Like about 110 types and colors. It's called DiNoc, but you have to get it from a signmaker or distributor. Avery also sell the same type of vinyl to the converters who make the pinstripes and wild designs. I thought about going off-beat, but the kids around here would try to steal it again (tried twice before). :banghead3: Other than not being a metallic paint, I added the Rock-Chip Guard like it was on the 1981 Futura wagon I had in 1981. It wasn't an option in Mexico in 1979.
