As of December 31st I will no longer be posting on this forum or any others.I am shutting down my computer for good.Just wanted to say it has been fun talking with you all and wishing you good things for the coming year. Sincerely Ray Smith
Going off the grid or getting away from electronics? Wish you luck/ I know I spend too much time on the net.
For me, it's always been the other way around: It's my computer that often want's nothing more to do with me (I wonder why )
Take care of yourself, thanks for being part of our wagon family. Wish you the best and if you ever change your mind, we will welcome you back.
Good luck Ray. Sometimes I think that's not a bad idea. I waste way too much time sitting on my butt playing with this computer when there are other things not getting done. We dropped TV when it went digital, got rid of the phone land line, and CB radios. I know I can do it. But I'm addicted and would miss so many friends and an unbelievable amount of intertainment. Hopefully most of us will still be here if you return. If not we'll be watching from up above.... Okay from below!
I don't know what you're doing wrong, Sir. It's the ones who have both that are doing it proper Dude! Didn't you see it coming, after only 64 posts? Well, maybe it's better to stay on the grid, at least (for the cat's sake, anyway)
In reponse to your statement(which I probably should not be doing)it is possible that the reason I have only made 64 posts is that I did them only because I thought I had something relevant to say.
It depends on where spare time is spent. If it's behind bars, it shouldn't likely be enjoyable, depending on who's locked up with whom
Thank you for giving us notice that you won't be posting. So often folks just stop posting for whatever reason and we never know what has happened to them. I hope that you are healthy and happy and there is nothing wrong and this is just a life choice that you are making. We may not have chatted much but I for one will miss seeing your name on the members on-line list. Take care, all the best in the new year and may all your road trips be pot hole free.
