Phantom, I am so sorry to hear this. Since you're on the forum, I assume you're okay and weren't hurt, which is a very good thing. Pursuant to another discussion thread, were you wearing your seatbelt?

well the good thing out of a bad situation is the car can be fixed.....just like any car time, patience, and money.....sounds like it didn't mess too much up from what you say.....yeah man that black ice up north is a bitch....you can literally do 360's in the road....I always wanted to learn ice skating but not in a car

I am sorry to hear this Phantom. I always had a soft spot for Malibus and your wagon is a very nice example! Good luck with the repairs!

Seriously....that really IS a bummer. Glad you are OK though. That bu is one of the nicest around and I sure hope you can get it on the road as slick as it was before the accident. I really DO want to see it this summer.

Well thanks guys. what a way to start a new year off... what do u guys think of a set of corvette ralleys with flat caps on the car? since the weld wheels are junk and i have the ralleys in the garage. as far as the suspension, it looks like im needing an upper a arm inner n outer tierods possibly a balljoint however the frame isnt bent or even scratched for that matter most of the damage is done to the wheel.

Good luck getting it back together.
It could have been a whole lot worse. I would consider myself lucky in that situation.
Still sucks when it happens. :slap:
